Take a seat\, stay a while. \nKatie Rae hails from Chester\, NS and first hit the bill with her band Young Folk in the summer of 2024. Throughout her time as lead singer and lyricist\, her passion for being heard and breaking through to audiences grew stronger. While she began singing covers of some of the best classic rock and folk tunes. – everything from Janis Joplin to Joni Mitchell – she’s been developing around songwriting skills along the way\, using all those strong female voices as inspiration. With her unique spin and signature sound\, Katie Rae always takes to the stage for a performance that promises to be as engaging as it is entertaining.
