He moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 2001. His song "Why'd You Lie" was a hit for Colin James and featured on James' 1988 debut album.

Jazz Night with Ken MacKay A native of Truro NS, Ken first started teaching in the Public School system in 1976 and has been active as an educator as a Clinician, Adjudicator and Soloist throughout his career.
