Unlike the traditional Latin Requiem Mass\, Brahms’ work is a deeply human meditation on grief\, comfort\, and hope\, setting German biblical texts that speak directly to the living. \nUnder the direction of conductor Gary Ewer\, this moving performance brings together orchestra and chorus in a work of remarkable emotional depth and luminous warmth.
