The Ordeals are a Halifax based band of honkytonk zealots. Their utter devotion to country music could be described as a problem, especially if you were to ask their loved ones. They play a wide range of hillbilly favourites from 50s, 60s and 70s, along with some true-to-form originals scattered throughout their set. Al Forbes sings, Kye Ehresman sits on kit, Rheo Rochon stands on bass, the great Phil Sedore plays Telecaster and Dave Campbell makes the pedal steel shimmer.

Bill Ricky is an alt-country outfit from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Taking inspiration from traditional country and folk, they have a unique knack for songwriting and delivering high-energy performances. Their music combines heartfelt acoustic waltzing with boot-stomping woman-rock. Since their live debut in 2023, the group has encouraged folks near and far to shine their boots and hit the dance floor. Riding the high of their debut EP release, Bill Ricky is serving country all over the East Coast of Canada.
