Masterclass with Pianist Illia Ovcharenko

Join us as an audience member for a free public piano masterclass led by Ukrainian pianist Illia Ovcharenko, winner of the Honens International Piano Competition. A rising star on the international stage, Ovcharenko has captivated audiences at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Berlin Konzerthaus, and with orchestras including Orchestre National d’Île de France and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Known for his poetic touch, commanding technique, and deeply expressive performances, he brings a rare insight into the art of interpretation.

In this interactive session, students from the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts perform and receive personalized coaching from Illia before a live audience. It’s a rare opportunity for music lovers and fellow piano students alike to observe the creative process up close, as developing artists refine their craft under the guidance of one of the world’s most dynamic young pianists.
