A Mozart violin/viola duo opens with elegance and wit, Kodály’s Intermezzo for string trio adds Hungarian rustic flair and Ginasetera’s Pampeana No 1 (violin and piano) delivers fiery Argentine passion. The evening closes with Dohnány’s lush and dramatic Piano Quartet –– a youthful masterpiece blending Romantic sweep with Hungarian soul.
