Songs of Stolen Children by Daughters of Donb as is a music/human rights project that deals with the ~20,000 Ukrainian children that’s have been abducted from occupied regions in Eastern Ukraine and taken to Russia.
Hauntingly beautiful acoustics vibrations translate the themes of sorrow and hope and give the voice to captured children who tragically can’t speak for themselves.
Weaving Ukrainian folk music into the modern context, Daughters of Donbas draw the strength from their ancestry and storytelling. Their hope is in speaking up and unity in action, which this 80-Knute concert is meant to inspire.
